The 2013-2014 yearbooks have been ordered, with 30 extra copies still available. If your child did not pre-order a copy and would like to purchase a yearbook, they can be purchased in the main office. They will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. The cost is $23.50. Checks should be made to CMS. Don’t miss out on this year’s memories!
Academic Challenge will meet after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Miss Smiach’s room until 3:20.
The Academic Challenge meet will be held at Triway Jr. High on April 17th, at 6:00 PM.

Basketball Skills for 5th & 6th grade boys and girls will be conducted every Monday and Thursday, beginning March 17th through May 8th. It will run from 5:45 - 7:00 PM in the Middle School Gym. The Skills will be a fun time to work on basketball skill development; dribbling, passing, shooting, rebouding, defense, footwork, etc.
Have you ever wanted to learn about the Rubik’s Cube? The Rubik’s is a 3-D combination puzzles that was invented in 1974. In the next several weeks, we will learn how to solve the infamous Rubik’s Cube and talk about some great ways we see math in solving the cube.
The Ohio Department of Health has specific immunization requirements for students entering 7th grade. A Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis) booster vaccination will be required to enter 7th grade. NOTE: Td vaccine cannot be substituted. ALL students must have record of a dose of Tdap.
Chipp Chat is CMS's school newspaper, produced by CMS students, under the direction of Librarian, Mrs. Vasilatos. Chipp Chat meets after school on Mondays and Wednesdays and is open to all students.

**It is also highly suggested that seventh grade students purchase a paperback Webster's Dictionary for Language Arts class. (Not pocket sized.)
The CMS Student Council is coordinating several different programs to help raise funds for our school.
There are several ways you can help CMS to earn cash and points to purchase items for the school, such as playground toys, classroom materials, etc. Check out the following programs to see how you can help our school.
Each student receives the Student - Parent Handbook (Agenda) at the beginning of the school year. The handbook contains information regarding dress code, attendance, school rules, athletic guidelines, along with other CMS information.
