Welcome to Chippewa Intermediate School! We are a school full of wonderful students, engaging staff, and excellence in education. As we work through our school year we place a high value on our partnership with parents, family, and community and invite you to be an active part of helping students to achieve their full potential.
Our school community is dedicated to providing our students with a well-rounded educational experience. We consider it a privilege to work with your kids every day and help them be their very best selves. While the core curriculum is provided for all students, we believe that it is critical to provide leadership opportunities, character education, and exposure to technologies in order to prepare our students for future success.
To help your student be successful in school, help them understand what is required of them to be a good learner inside and outside of the classroom. Talk about qualities and learning behaviors such as: taking positive risks, viewing errors as opportunities, working to recover from a mistake, giving and receiving feedback, asking questions, setting goals, and tracking their own progress. Students need both high challenge and high support to grow as learners, and we look forward to helping students maximize their growth at CIS.
