Welcome to 4th Grade Language Arts!!
In Language Arts we are working on summarizing, writing paragraphs, ordering adjectives, quotation marks, and idioms.
When you are choosing books to read at home, have your child use the five finger book test. Read the page and if your child knows all the words, it is too easy, if they are not sure of about 2 or 3 words, the book is just right, or If they miss five or more words, the book is too difficult.
