Subject: Looking Ahead with Gratitude and Confidence

Mr. Todd Osborn
Superintendent

Dear Chippewa Families,

As we wrap up another incredible school year, I want to take a moment to celebrate the events and experiences that are making these final weeks so special—and to share about the leadership transitions that will shape Chippewa’s future.

We are thrilled to announce that Mr. Timothy W. Adams has been named the next Superintendent of Chippewa Local Schools, effective August 1, 2025. A 1999 graduate of Chippewa and our current Jr./Sr. High School Principal, Mr. Adams brings more than a decade of experience in educational leadership. His career has been defined by a strong focus on student success, positive school culture, and building trusted relationships across the community. As someone who grew up in this district and now serves it with great pride, Mr. Adams is well-positioned to guide Chippewa into a strong and inspiring future.

As for me, I will officially step down as Superintendent on July 31, 2025, and I’m honored to continue serving the Board of Education as a consultant through July 2026. In this new role, I’ll work closely with Mr. Adams and Treasurer intern Ken Gasser, support our district’s major facilities projects—including the CIS addition and Serpentini Stadium athletic improvements—and assist with planning for upcoming contract negotiations. I look forward to continuing this important work behind the scenes to ensure long-term stability and success for our schools.

As we approach the final days of school, the energy across our buildings is contagious. Our Jr./Sr. High Drama Club recently wowed audiences with a spirited and professional production of Newsies, and seven of our senior athletes signed letters of intent to continue their sports at the collegiate level. Excitement is building for favorite year-end traditions like field trips, field days, concerts, banquets, awards nights, and our 6th-grade dance.

We’re also looking ahead to one of our most meaningful celebrations: graduation. On May 23, we’ll come together to honor the Class of 2025—a group of young leaders, scholars, artists, and athletes who have made a lasting mark on Chippewa. It will be a moment to celebrate their accomplishments, recognize their character and resilience, and send them into the future with pride and hope.

These moments represent the heart of who we are at Chippewa—vibrant, supportive, student-centered, and deeply rooted in community pride.

Thank you for being an essential part of our mission to inspire every student and empower every future.

Have a safe, joyful end of the school year—and Go Chipps!

Todd Osborn
