Chippewa Middle School Choirs
The 7th and 8th grade choir and band concert will be held Tuesday, May 15 at 7:00 p.m. in the Middle School Gymnasium. Students should arrive at 6:45 p.m. for warm-up in the choir room. Attire is dress clothing-no jeans, athletic pants, t-shirts with writing, shorts, hoodies.

Welcome to the choir and the music department of Chippewa Middle School. I am looking forward to a great choral year!
GRADES
The grading policy is based on these criteria:
1. Participation in class
2. Concert performance
3. Skill assessment
a. Written Work--worksheets, quizzes, tests, sight reading exercises
b. Vocal assessment
c. Performance reflection
CONCERTS
- Attendance at all performances involving your grade level choir is mandatory. Choir is a performance class.
- Concert attire is as follows:
*Boys in all choirs should wear a dress shirt, dress pants, dress shoes. Ties are
optional.
*Girls in all choirs should wear dress blouse, skirt or dress pants, dress shoes, or a
dress.
*Jeans, hoodies, t-shirts with writing, athletic shoes and shorts are not appropriate dress attire for concerts.
