Honored with Jennings Award of Excellence
Doylestown, OH – July 29, 2024 – Chippewa Local School District is thrilled to announce that Superintendent Todd Osborn has been honored with the prestigious Superintendent Award of Excellence by the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation. This award recognizes superintendents who exhibit exemplary leadership and a steadfast commitment to educational excellence.
Superintendent Osborn expressed his gratitude upon receiving the award, stating, “Receiving this honor is not just a personal achievement but a testament to our entire school community’s dedication and hard work. I am proud of what we have accomplished together and excited for what the future holds.”
This accolade, accompanied by a $1,000 grant for the district, recognizes Superintendent Osborn’s innovative leadership and strategic initiatives. These include the creation of pivotal roles such as the Curriculum Coordinator, and engaging educational programs like “Todd Talks.” Additionally, his introduction of the “Needle Mover Award” to honor outstanding staff members, and the establishment of “Chipp Time” for enhanced professional development, have significantly propelled the educational standards and community involvement in our district.
Board President Linda Fenn remarked, “Todd’s transformative leadership and genuine dedication have profoundly impacted our district. He is exceptionally deserving of this recognition, and we are fortunate to have him at the helm of Chippewa Local Schools.”
Superintendent Osborn was formally celebrated at the annual Jennings Award Banquet on Thursday, July 18, 2024.
