Length of Time Doing What You Do: I graduated in May of 2021 from Ashland University and have been at Chippewa for about a year now. I also got the opportunity to student teach at Hazel Harvey. What You Do for Chippewa: One of my favorite quotes by Rita Pierson states, "Every child deserves a champion, an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be." I started by having this as part of my teaching philosophy and I continue to live by it. I show up for my students everyday and push them to be the best they can be while forming those important relationships with them, knowing every day that they are cared about. Family Info (OPTIONAL): I am the oldest of three girls. My parents are the best and are always so supportive. My family means so much to me and I will never get tired of hanging out with them. My grandma is my best friend. I am engaged to Nick Zollinger and we will be getting married next summer on June 17th, 2023.
